SMT is proud to be one of 884 law firms that were parties to an amicus brief filed on April 25, 2025, with the DC district court in support of Susman Godfrey, the latest law firm to be targeted by the administration. There have been 5 executive orders targeting law firms. Susman Godfrey represented Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News in the aftermath of the 2020 election.

We are proud to support Susman Godfrey, Perkins Coie and other firms in their efforts to fight for the rule of law and against these attacks on our institutions of democracy.
