Barbara Gallagher has more than 30 years of experience in advising and counseling business owners and their families in a variety of areas. She enjoys nurturing long term relationships and ensuring that clients receive legal advice and other related services that they may need. Her practice areas include business, real property, copyright and trademark, employment law, and estate planning. Barbara has extensive experience in counseling businesses, management of trust assets, and licensing and management of intellectual property assets.
Barbara attended UC Davis Law School where she was elected to Order of the Coif and served as Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. Before joining Spaulding McCullough &Tansil, Barbara was previously a partner in the law firm of Anderson, Zeigler, Disharoon, Gallagher & Gray.
Barbara currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, as well as on the Board of Peanuts Worldwide LLC. Barbara previously was appointed to the City of Santa Rosa Personnel Board, and on the boards of various organizations including Community Foundation Sonoma County, Junior Achievement, Santa Rosa Downtown Development Association, and the Sonoma County Law Library Board of Trustees.
Barbara also holds a California real estate broker’s license, with considerable experience in real property purchase and sale transactions, exchanges, and commercial leasing and financing. Barbara currently serves as legal counsel to the North Bay Association of Realtors.
