Jess Alys focuses her practice in the area of estate planning, supporting individuals and families as they navigate complex and often sensitive legal matters. Prior to joining Spaulding, McCullough & Tansil LLP, Jess practiced at a firm supporting complex mass tort litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she held legal support roles at law firms in San Diego, New York, London, and across Europe, experience that contributes to her practical approach and strong appreciation for teamwork and client service. She also has experience in law firm technology and operations, as well as work in educational and multilingual environments.

Jess earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Empire College School of Law, as well as a Master of Legal Studies, cum laude, from the same institution. She received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
