Stephanie Rothberg has extensive litigation experience and her practice encompasses general civil litigation, including premises liability, construction, products liability, mechanic liens, and trust and estate litigation.
Stephanie came to SMT in 2018 with more than ten years of experience in civil litigation in both southern California and San Francisco, where she was a partner. She has successfully litigated large multiple-party cases, including product liability, premises liability, and construction law cases, as well as smaller claims. She has represented a wide variety of clients, including individuals, property owners, contractors, hotels, and product manufacturers and suppliers. She has been involved in all aspects of case handling, including successful resolution of cases through negotiation, formal mediation and dispositive motions.
Stephanie grew up in Lake County, California, and then went on to play water polo at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. After college, Stephanie spent two years as a paralegal in Washington, D.C. before returning to California for law school. Stephanie was awarded the North Bay Business Journal Forty Under 40 Award in 2019. She currently resides in Calistoga and serves as a Commissioner on the Napa County Library Commission.
