Stephanie Rothberg has extensive litigation experience and her practice encompasses general civil litigation, including business, employment, premises liability, construction defect, mechanic liens, and trust and estate litigation.
Stephanie came to SMT in 2018 with more than ten years of experience in civil litigation in both southern California and San Francisco, where she was a partner. She has successfully litigated large multiple-party cases, including product liability, premises liability, and construction law cases, as well as smaller claims. She has represented a wide variety of clients, including individuals, property owners, contractors, and business owners. She has been involved in all aspects of case handling through trial, including successful resolution of cases through negotiation, formal mediation and dispositive motions.
Stephanie grew up in Lake County, California, and then went on to play water polo at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. After college, Stephanie spent two years as a paralegal in Washington, D.C. before returning to California for law school. Stephanie was awarded the North Bay Business Journal Forty Under 40 Award in 2019. She was elected to the Calistoga Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2020 and serves as a Commissioner on the Napa County Library Commission. Stephanie resides in Calistoga.
