SMT is proud to announce that Katherine L. Jeffrey has been selected by the North Bay Business Journal for its 2020 Forty Under 40 Award. The award acknowledges her leadership in estate planning law and her contributions to SMT and the community.
Shelter In Place has become our new reality. The various orders from Bay Area counties are in place through April 7. These orders may get extended. The State’s stay at home order has been issued without an end date. These changes are having a profound impact on our personal lives and our businesses. SMT, like you, is taking steps to comply with Shelter In Place and to help limit the spread of COVID-19. We are each doing our part to protect the health of our community.
As each of us adapts to functioning in our new reality, SMT’s attorneys and staff are available to assist with resolving issues, whether for your business or for you and your family. Even as we care for each other and others in our community, we also need to remain focused on keeping businesses open and protecting the vibrancy of our economy.
As has been the case for more than two decades, SMT is available to help with business, employment, estate planning, real property, intellectual property and dispute resolution. We also can assist you in addressing issues arising directly from COVID-19. These issues include new laws concerning employees and benefits; assessing the enforceability of a contract; landlord and tenant issues; updating your estate plan, to name a few. The list is lengthy but we are prepared to support you. Let us know how we can help.
As we manage the many issues of today, we all need to remain focused on moving forward – together.
Stay safe and take care,
The attorneys and staff of SMT
Spaulding McCullough & Tansil LLP
SMT is pleased and grateful to announce that we have been selected by the North Bay Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay.
Our firm is a great place to work – a wonderful group of people who are not just dedicated to excellence in our craft, but who also appreciate the humanity of spending each day together. Legal work can be stressful, both for clients and legal professionals, so it’s a high priority for us to have fun with what we’re doing. We work hard to create an environment in which attorneys and staff are supported both personally and professionally, and the result is committed employees who thrive on challenges and are passionate about helping our clients. Developing long-term, talented employees translates into consistency and continuity for clients who can count on an attorney or secretary who knows their name and returns their calls. We are dedicated to our clients and each client should feel our commitment to them.
SMT is delighted and grateful to announce that we have won a Gold Medal in the 2019 North Bay Biz Magazine’s “Best of” reader’s poll.
